Best Restaurant Software for Food Trucks in India

A food truck should run on a phone, not a fixed terminal. SpoonCub takes parcel orders and records how people paid. It does not need a counter PC.

A food truck should buy software for the way tickets actually move, not because a POS ad showed a fine-dining floor.

What the shift looks like

The truck has no back office and often no stable counter. The phone is already in the operator's hand. Tickets are takeaway. The network may be a hotspot.

Where SpoonCub fits

SpoonCub installs from the browser onto that phone. Each sale is a parcel order. You record UPI, cash, card, or other, and you can show a UPI QR. At the end of the service you see what was collected. There is nothing to mount in the truck.

Where it does not

Skip SpoonCub if the truck depends on printed tokens or on Swiggy orders landing automatically. Those need a different system. A dead data connection also blocks saves, so do not pick a cloud app for a site with no signal.

  • Staff place every order. Guests do not scan a QR.
  • Takeaway is a parcel ticket. Seated service is a table.
  • Checkout records UPI, cash, card, or other.
  • There is no inventory count and no kitchen display.

Dhaba, cafe, bakery, or parcel only

The product does not care if you serve thali, espresso, or pav. It cares that staff take table tickets. Small Indian shops with seating are the audience.
