PIN lock when waiters share one phone
Small teams share a device. Sign in with a password, then lock the screen with a 4-digit PIN on that phone when you hand it over.
In a 6-table café you rarely buy a device per waiter. One or two phones move around the floor. The risk is obvious: the next person sees the previous login, or worse, can change things they should not.
Each staff member signs in with restaurant code, username, and password. Then they set a 4-digit PIN on that phone. Lock before you hand it over. Unlock is the PIN — the password stays off the floor. The PIN never goes to the server.
How we expect you to use it
- Owner and Manager set people up (roles: Owner, Manager, Staff)
- Staff take orders and checkout; they do not manage menu or tables
- Lock before you hand the device to someone else
- Change PIN from the app when you need to
This is built for a shared handset, not for a locked cashier PC in the back.
