Best Ordering Software for Takeaway Restaurants
Takeaway ordering is a queue of named tickets. SpoonCub calls these parcel orders. It does not import Swiggy, and guests do not order on a public page.
A takeaway counter should buy software for the way tickets actually move, not because a POS ad showed a fine-dining floor.
What the shift looks like
Takeaway fails when two bags get the same name or the token is only in someone's head. You need a list of open orders and a way to mark them done.
Where SpoonCub fits
In SpoonCub you leave the table empty and start a parcel order. Add an optional reference, usually the guest's name or phone. Several parcels stay open together. Complete the one you hand over. Dining tables, if you also have them, stay a separate occupancy.
Where it does not
This is not an online ordering website. If guests must order from a link, you need that product as well. SpoonCub is the staff list at the window.
- Staff place every order. Guests do not scan a QR.
- Takeaway is a parcel ticket. Seated service is a table.
- Checkout records UPI, cash, card, or other.
- There is no inventory count and no kitchen display.

Dhaba, cafe, bakery, or parcel only
The product does not care if you serve thali, espresso, or pav. It cares that staff take table tickets. Small Indian shops with seating are the audience.
