QR Ordering vs Staff-Taken Ordering: Which Is Better?
QR ordering lets the guest send the ticket. Staff-taken ordering lets your team send it. SpoonCub is staff-taken only. There is no guest QR menu.
QR is faster when guests are willing and orders are simple. Staff-taken is calmer when items get customised, tables share dishes, or you do not want surprise tickets in the kitchen.
QR ordering
- Guest scans, browses, and submits.
- You need a public menu and a way to reject junk orders.
- SpoonCub does not do this.
Staff-taken ordering
- Waiter or cashier taps the menu.
- The ticket stays on the table or on a parcel order.
- This is SpoonCub.
Which one to run
Pick QR if you are removing the waiter from ordering on purpose. Pick SpoonCub if the waiter is staying and the paper pad is the problem.

How to start SpoonCub
There is no Sign up button. You talk to us. We create the restaurant, you get a trial, you run a shift, then you pay if it fits.

Dhaba, cafe, bakery, or parcel only
The product does not care if you serve thali, espresso, or pav. It cares that staff take table tickets. Small Indian shops with seating are the audience.
