SpoonCub vs Posist: Which Is Better for a Small Restaurant?
Posist rebranded to Restroworks. It is a chain restaurant platform. SpoonCub is the lighter choice when one small team takes orders on a phone.
Posist is now Restroworks. If a vendor, a friend, or an old demo still says Posist, they mean that chain-scale platform, not a separate small-restaurant app.
Posist grew from a cloud POS into a stack for groups: front of house, inventory, kitchen tools, and digital ordering. A small restaurant can be sold that stack. Most small restaurants will not use it. You pay in setup time even when the licence looks affordable.
SpoonCub is the other end. One outlet. Staff take dine-in and parcel orders on a phone. Checkout records the payment mode and, if you configured GST, the tax breakup. You can see today's collection before you close. You do not get stock, recipes, or a kitchen screen.
Use this test
- One outlet, owner still on the floor: start with SpoonCub.
- Several outlets that must share menus, stock, and reports: look at Restroworks (Posist).
- You only need a tax invoice printed at the counter: a billing tool may be enough, and it is a third choice.

Dhaba, cafe, bakery, or parcel only
The product does not care if you serve thali, espresso, or pav. It cares that staff take table tickets. Small Indian shops with seating are the audience.

Petpooja is a broad restaurant POS. SpoonCub is staff ordering on a phone for one small restaurant. Choose by the daily job, not the feature list.
