SpoonCub vs MenuTab: Which Simple Restaurant Ordering System Is Better?

MenuTab-style tools publish a menu for guests, often by QR or a social page. SpoonCub is the opposite: your staff take the order.

MenuTab is a guest menu, not a staff POS. Products under that name let people publish a menu, sometimes with QR or a Facebook page, and sometimes take an online order. SpoonCub never hands the menu to the guest as the ordering screen.

Use a digital menu when you want guests to browse dishes on their own phone and you are happy to receive those orders. Use SpoonCub when a waiter, cashier, or the owner must control the ticket: table, items, discount, payment mode, and close.

SpoonCub's menu is for staff only. Veg and non-veg are marked so the floor does not guess. There is no public QR menu in the product. That is a limit if your goal is contactless guest ordering. It is the point if your goal is fewer wrong tickets.

The one question that settles it

Who should tap the order: the guest, or your staff? Guest menu tools and SpoonCub answer that differently. A small restaurant that already has someone taking orders does not need both on day one.

The product does not care if you serve thali, espresso, or pav. It cares that staff take table tickets. Small Indian shops with seating are the audience.
